Labour Relations
The Board hears applications and complaints by employers, employees and unions on matters such as:
- the certification of unions and determination of bargaining units;
- revocation of certification orders;
- the union’s duty to represent employees fairly;
- rights and obligations relating to bargaining units when businesses are sold or merged;
- unfair labour practices by employers and unions;
- services required to be maintained during a strike or a lockout; and
- illegal strikes or lockouts.
